that's how we suffer...in civil

If you get up late in the morning and being tardy for your first class, Never aim to reach at the college building till 8:30 because it will take another 15 minutes to reach at civil department until you would run like osain bolt. However it’s a different thing that you may not find students as well as teacher in the class and contradictorily in some cases you were not allowed to attend classes because of only being late by 5 minutes. Perhaps that’s why I call it unpredictable department. Here all depends on the frame of mind of faculty and the amount of quarrel they have last night with their spouses. :P
Only Civil department has its own block in the college campus. Every block whether it is AB1, AB2 or AB3 are being shared with two or more branches, AB4 is not. Why? Ever thought about it? Let me tell. What happens when a mother gives birth to a baby? She is segregated from the home and all facilities are provided her there. This period is called sohar in hindi. Same scenario happens when a person left the world. The house is considered isolated from the society. I think civil department is going through the period “sohar”. But let the time decide whether civil department is on the rise (taking birth) or on the deathbed. :P

I had 95% attendance…and got placed

I wish this would happen when you would be in formals, sitting in front of some gentle yet threatening persons probably a country head of your desired company, asking your attendance and offering a blank cheque to you after hearing it 90+.
This would happen when your attendance will be the authorizations of your intelligence, when your teachers would rather be aware of your attendance than your marks, when your papa would feel pride enlightening your attendance in front of your
neighbor  when a proxy would be sold in 1000 bucks, when students would commit suicide for their short attendance, when 100% attendance will be the criterion of honours degree.
Hard to happen. But keep hoping. May be a day arrive when you would be rewarded for rubbing your a** on benches your class.
